Valentine's Day Wreath Update

Well... it only took a day for me to realize that my wreath was a little lopsided. Every time Mr. Fiance opened or closed the front door it would swing around and the decorative piece would be hanging upside down.

So I took about 5 minutes in Michael's today and found the cheapest 3D heart effect I could find. It cost about $4.99 and I figure I can find use for all 12 of these heart things.

A little hot glue, some waiting time and walah! Problem solved!

I made sure to let the first layer of hearts set before adding the second layer. I originally was only going to go with the first layer but when I picked it up, I could tell from the weight that it needed a little more. Thus, the second layer.

Side note: when I was at the store and thinking about St. Patrick's Day and the wreath I had for that, I realized it was a little "flat" feeling so I picked up some little pieces to help spruce it up like this. I can't wait to share them with you all!
